After more than 5 years not visiting Malacca, I managed to arrange for a trip down to the historic state with a friend for a 3 days 2 nights weekend getaways. It was a busy weekend, a bit of traffic on the road, most of the hotel is full and lots of tourists on the street. DAY 1Arriving around 6pm, we check in to the hotel and went out for dinner. Our first meal in Malacca was the famous Malacca Chicken Rice Ball. We then have a short walk on Jonker Street enjoyed the egg-shaped ice cream and some local bbq cuttle fish, where it suddenly rain, therefore we decided to quickly walk back to the hotel and rest. DAY 2 It's a sightseeing day. A bit of rain in the morning, luckily we have an umbrella with us. Visited some of attractions in the city, includes Red House, A Famosa, Samudera Museum, The Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum. Tried some of the local Nyonya food and Satay Celup, one of the specialty in Malacca.
